POP Art Project

In our Thursday creative sessions over the last few weeks we have been working on a Pop Art project. We started by exploring different Pop Art,  in which we all found our favourite styles. We researched each artist and their work with the help of Chelsea and we continued to work over 6 weeks sketching, colouring, painting and finalising our pieces. During these six weeks we were able to take a trip down to the museum of Liverpool for the day, we explored the whole museum especially the section with the history of Liverpool which many inspired many of the young people.

All of our work turned out amazing with all of them being different styles and inspired by different parts of Liverpool, some of which being buildings around Liverpool, singers and actors and the football teams.

Bailey said ‘As a young person I found this project incredibly interesting, I loved getting to learn more about Liverpool culture and spending time with everyone in the museum and during our art sessions’.
